This is what I wore last Saturday morning for my  nephew´s birthday party. A mix of comfy and  cool ;) Light fabrics and soft colors provide contrast to the statement necklace.

Note the silver "canastas" by Fulgore: here at Didá we looove them and have them in all the colors available, even our baby girls have them!

Esto es lo que usé el sábado pasado para el cumpleaños de mi sobrino. Una mezcla de comfort y coolness ;) Telas frescas y colores pasteles le dan un contraste súper chevere al collar. Noten las "canasta" de Fulgore: aqui en Didá somos fans de este modelo, incluso nuestras hijas las tienen en todos los colores!

Look of the Day: Christmas Brunch

Having fun with your friends is one of the  best parts of the Holiday season. This year we decided to gather for an early brunch and exchange some Christmas presents between friends. Diana was the hostess with the mostest as always and the manu included ceviche, fried plantains, chesse and cold cuts assortment, and lots of champagne to celebrate!

Divertirse con tus amigas es la mejor parte de la epoca navideña. Este año decidimos hacer un brunch e intercambiar algunos regalos entre todas. Diana fue la anfitriona y se pasó como siempre. El menú incluyó ceviche de pescado, patacones, variedad de quesos y jamones, y mucha mucha champaña para celebrar!

Look of the day: The Queen's party

Every year the English Consulate and Embassy in Ecuador gather to celebrate the Queen of England. This year the party was at the beach Punta Blanca. It was a very nice party all wearing white and betting for the nicest hat. 

 At the party we also got to have a bit of runway glamour when the brand Ecua-Andino and fashion designers Patricia and Melissa Klein showed their latest creations.  

Todos los anos la Embajada y consulado Ingles se reune para celebrar a su majestad la Reina de Inglaterra. Este ano la fiesta fue en la playa Punta Blanca. Fue una linda fiesta todos los invitados vestidos de blanco y las mujeres compitiendo por el mejor sombrero. 

Este ano la fiesta tambien nos dio un poco de moda con el desfile de los sombreros Ecuador Andino y tendencias de las disenadoras Patricia Klein y Melissa Klein.

Our look of the day is courtesy of our friends from Shop Dear One. Their designs are contemporary and so stlylish! This chic blouse is from their latest collection, jeans are from Forever 21 and shoes are old L.A.M.B but we thought went perfect with the flower theme. Lately, it´s been so hot here in Guayaquil that wearing this kind of flowy fresh shirts is the only thing that makes sense ;)

El look de hoy es cortesía de nuestros amigos de Shop Dear One. Sus diseños son contempóraneos y súper trendy! Esta blusa de flores es de su ultima colección, los jeans son de Forever21 y los zapatos son L.A.M.B., los cuales creemos que le dan el toque ideal a la tematica floral del look. ultimamente ha estado haciendo tanto calor que usar estas blusas frescas es lo unico que tiene sentido!

This is what I wore for a business event I had in Milano last week. Sorry for the lack of detailed photos but I had the worst neck pain ever and that was the only shot I could get without screaming!

I was wearing a MNG dress, Calzedonia tights, pearls from Gorfin jewerly store over at San Marino Shopping Center and Michael Kors watch. Lipstick is Scarlet from Sephora Collection.

Esto es lo que usé la semana pasada en Milán para un evento de trabajo. Sorry por la falta de fotos detalladas pero estaba con un dolor de cuello terrible y esta es la única toma que logré sin gritar del dolor!

Estaba con un vestido de MNG, tights de Calzedonia, perlas de la joyería Gorffin en San Marino, reloj Michael Kors. El lápiz de labio es de Sephora Collection color Scarlet.

En el zoologico de Quito emocionada de ver al condor bebe, monos,  un canguro y diferentes buhos.  Mi cómoda opcion fueron botas, skinny jeans, camisa de seda estilo piloto, mi cartera morada Coach,  gafas wayfarer y mis aretes de turquesas vintage

Farmers´ market

 Last Saturday morning we went to a local farmers´market sponsored by several associations and Balandra Cruz del Sur high school. We had a really good time browsing through all the stands, chatting with friends and we bought fresh organic bananas, sugar cane, tomatoes among other things. 

Our great find were the friendship bracelets at 0.50 cents each!!

El sábado pasado fuimos a la feria de productos orgánicos auspiciada por varias organizaciones y el colegio Balandra Cruz del Sur. Pasamos un rato súper agradable conversando con amigos, visitando los stands y comprando guineos, caña de azúcar, tomates, ciruelas entre otras cosas. 

Nuestra mejor compra fue las pulseras de hilo por $0.50 cada una!

Aniversario NoMínimo

Last night we visited our friends Pily and Eliana art gallery NoMínimo. They were celebrating their 1 year anniversary with an amazing exhibition by artists Ilich Castillo, Ricardo Coello, Fernando Falconí, Óscar Santillán and Stéfano Rubira.

The pieces were visually exquisite and we fell in love with Stéfano Rubira´s  art. Diana couldn´t make it, but Daniela got there and took some photos (with the worst light ever) and we hope you enjoy it!
