Sometimes there are amazing elaborate and detailed runway looks that when translated to real life don´t look at all like the runway, either dumb or unnecessarily over the top. But there are exceptionally good runway collections that become a historical milestone because when translated to real life look sophisticated and timeless. Case in point: the latest S/S RTW Gucci collection. Art Deco-inspired and all the gold black and fabric movement make it one of the best, we dare to say, since Tom Ford´s milestone collections in the 90s.

We have been playing with this idea for several days: scarves. As you can see in the first picture that skirt from the Prada Resort collection, shows that if it is an interesting design then it can be part of a modern outfit. The second look is from one of our favorite fashion bloggers. She chose to make her own dress with two second-hand scarves. If you want to see how she did it go here and copy her idea. In any case, we have been considering this subject and we believe that if we find the perfect scarf, we definitely will wear it in anny of these two options.


Deste el otro día estamos dandole vuelta a este tema: los pañuelos. Pues como ven en la primera foto esa falda de la colección Resort de Prada, si los pañuelos tienen un diseño interesante se ven increíbles como parte de un outfit moderno. La segunda foto es de una de nuestras fashion bloggers favoritas. Ella optó por hacerse su propio vestido con dos pañuelos de segunda mano. Si quieren pueden ver aquí como lo hizo y copiar la idea. En todo caso, estamos considerando este tema y creemos que cuando nos topemos con el pañuelo correcto, lo utilizaremos en alguna de estas dos formas.
